Engaging in Challenging Conversations
The successful implementation of IDEA and the determination of FAPE requires adults with diverse experience, expertise, and perspective to collaborate in serve of children with special needs. This is complex work and requires conversations of shared learning. In this workshop, we will introduce key concepts, process, and skills in support of these conversations and that are applicable to all relationships. This is an 8-part online course with a focus of increasing individuals capacity for engaging in conflict. Attendees will participate in four (4) online courses coupled with four (4) coaching sessions.

Behavior Management Tips for Parents
An interactive, in person workshop designed for parents to better understand and manage behaviors in the home. Parents will learn about the most common target behaviors exhibited in the home and community, how to identify and manipulate antecedents to help decrease undesirable behaviors, determine the “why” for the undesirable behaviors, and how to respond to undesirable behaviors.

Participando en Conversaciones Desafiantes

Consejos para Padres de Como Manejar el Comportamiento
Un taller interactivo y presencial diseñado para que los padres comprendan y gestionen mejor los comportamientos en el hogar. Los padres aprenderán sobre los comportamientos más comunes exhibidos en el hogar y en la Comunidad, cómo identificar y manipular los antecedentes para ayudar a disminuir los comportamientos no deseados, determinar el "por qué" de los comportamientos no deseados, y cómo responder a los comportamientos no deseados.
