Student Score Reports for State Tests

Dear Parent or Guardian,

With summer approaching, we are excited to share that student test score results for many of the State standardized tests have been released early! During the 2023-24 school year, students in grades 3-8, 11th and 12th were administered California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) exams.

California Alternative Assessments (CAAs) English Language Arts and Mathematics; Grades 3-8 & 11

CAA Science  Grades 5, 8 & 12
Note: For students with the most significant cognitive disabilities and whose individualized education program (IEP) team has designated the use of an alternate assessment on statewide summative assessments

There has been a Student Score Report (SSR) redesign: a new look and organization, improved results comparisons, detailed results, leveled measures to locate targeted reading and math materials and more. Sample CAASPP score reports and many resources can be found on the CAASPP Starting Smarter website.

How to view your student score reports: The first release of score reports are available electronically through the Aeries Parent Portal. SSRs continue to be released daily. Below is information on how to login to the Parent Portal, and here are directions on how to access Student Score Reports within the portal.

These test results are just one way to look at how our students are doing. We use the results to find areas where students are doing well and areas in which they need help. It is also important to know that test results are not used to determine whether a student moves to the next grade. If you have questions regarding the assessments, please call your child’s school. Parents/guardians may request a printed copy of the Student Score Report from your child’s school.

Sincerely,
