Thank You for a Wonderful 2024-25 School Year!

Dear SRCS Community,

As we reach the end of the school year, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the dedication, care and effort you’ve shown in support of our students, one another and the entire SRCS community. This year brought both challenges and triumphs, and through it all, you demonstrated unwavering commitment to our shared values - equity, community and joy.

From the classroom to the front office, from support services to administration, from maintenance operations to food service, every teacher and staff played a vital part in shaping the future and success of our students. It is a privilege to serve alongside such an inspiring and devoted team. I hope you find time to rest, recharge and reflect on the important work you have accomplished.

To our incredible parents and families, thank you for your continued partnership and trust. Your involvement, dedication and support are essential to the success of our students. Your commitment to learning at home, attending school events and staying engaged in your child’s education has made a lasting impact, and we truly value the countless ways you’ve shown up for your children and our schools.

This week, we celebrate promotions and graduations - a time to honor the hard work and growth of our remarkable students as they advance to new challenges and opportunities. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2025! Your accomplishments fill us with pride, and we can’t wait to see what comes next in your journey. Thank you to all in our greater SRCS community who helped make these moments possible!

Wishing you a wonderful summer,

Carmen Diaz Ghysels
Superintendent

Immigration Resources

As we head into summer, we recognize the ongoing fear, anxiety and uncertainty among our student and family immigrant community. We are also mindful of recent new reports regarding immigration enforcement activity throughout California. SRCS will continue to partner with community agencies, including the Marin Rapid Response Network, to keep us informed of potential activity that may impact our students and families. SRCS is proud to serve a diverse community, and we are fully committed to the safety, dignity and privacy of all students and families, regardless of immigration status.

Below are some helpful resources for families navigating immigration-related concerns, including know-your-rights materials, emergency planning tools and community support:
